Deposit Each bar booking is subject to a deposit payment to secure the booking which is to be paid by the customer within 14 days of receiving the invoice. Once the deposit is received your booking date will be secured and the booking will be complete. Holding your booking date MEB will hold your booking date for14 days after issuing the deposit invoice this is to allow reasonable time for you to review all of the information provided and the terms and conditions. Once the 14 days have passed the date you request will be available for other customers and the initial invoice will be void. Cancelation A Cancelation can be made up until 91 days prior to the event and you would receive a 100% deposit refund. The deposit will not be refunded in full if any of the following apply. A Cancellation is made by the customer between 90 and 59 days prior to the event would be subject to a 50% deposit loss. A Cancellation Made 60 days or less prior to the event would be subject to a 100% deposit loss. Postponement or change of event date Should you require a postponement or date change MEB will make every effort to fulfil your request however it is not obliged to do so. There may be reasons why we are unable to accept the date change which includes but is not limited to Availability on the new date Business operations including staffing, bar, equipment and transport availability. If your preferred date change is not available we would communicate to attempt to find a date suited to MEB and the customer. A date change must be requested at least 30 days prior to the event. Should a date change not be agreed we would then revert to the cancelation policy. Licensing - Temporary event notice (TEN) You agree to source the licence yourself or check the details with the venue to ensure that they have a premises licence which covers the sale of alcohol during the time that you request the bar is operational. Failure to do so would result in us being unable to open the bar and the booking would be cancelled with a 100% deposit loss. Organisers and/or guests consuming alcohol that was not purchased from MEB In line with our licencing responsibilities and in order for us to maintain a safe environment for both adults and children the consumption of any alcoholic drinks that were not purchased from MEB is strictly prohibited unless a prior agreement has been made with MEB. If a guest is spotted consuming alcohol purchased off the premises the bar team will initially inform the guest of this policy. Failure to comply will result in a 100% deposit loss. Challenge 25 We operate a strict challenge 25 policy. Any organisers or guests who appear to be under the age of 25 will be requested to produce a valid ID should they request to be sold alcohol, Failure to do so would result in the organiser/guest being refused the sale of alcohol throughout. It is illegal for an adult to purchase alcohol for a child, our bar team will remove alcohol if they suspect a child is consuming the drink in question. The bar manager may take further action. Sale Refusal All of our bar team have the right to refuse. Reasons for refusal include but are not limited to - out of date ID, false ID, intoxication or verbal abuse. all sales refusals are recorded. If a guest presents a false ID the ID will be confiscated and handed into a local police station for the guest to collect or discuss further, if any abuse is received at this point the police will be informed and asked to attend. Physical and verbal abuse we have a zero tolerance policy for any physical and/or verbal abuse. Our staff will ask the guest to leave the premises and take further action is necessary. Our staff are there to make the evening as enjoyable as possible for all guests and we do not expect them to be abused or accept it whilst carrying out their duties. Our Service MEB will set out our service and what we provide to each customer. Our stock and price lists are correct as of today but are subject to change due to demand and inflation. We can not guarantee that every product will be available at your event. The quantity of products we stock is based on past events and rates of sale which may mean that stock becomes unavailable throughout the event. We will make every effort to replenish popular products throughout the event however this is not always possible. We welcome any drink requests and will always aim to provide these for your event. Service Glassware We are only able to supply glassware for the duration of our service if adequate glass wash facilities are available. this may include a glass wash machine or a sink that has running water. If these facilities are not available at your chosen venue all products will be served into disposable cups. Tailored Packages If you have requested a package MEB will discuss and finalise the package before requesting any payment. Packages include glass hire, table service, reception and/or toast drinks. Contact with MEB You may contact MEB at any point to discuss your booking and packages - MEB will aim to respond within 48 hours. |
